Christmas Day!

Christmas morning started bright and early at our house....we are ALWAYS early risers!  I think they slept in this morning a little meaning about 6:15.  The boys had a blast playing with their new toys and opening up the presents.  This was the first year they have all been into it - as usual we were opening up toys all morning....some of these things they have locked down about a hundred times!

Not sure about this singing Elmo.....

Ok, I will touch him now.....

Cars from Grandma and Grandpa!

Nerf Guns!  The
Yea!  Cars!

We went to church around 10:00 and when we got out it was snowing!  All out blizzard!  Jon finally got his white Christmas!
Catching snowflakes in our mouth!

The road home.

We had Grannie and PaPa and Rachel and Uncle Jason over to the house for Christmas lunch....did I get any pictures....nope!  I really need to work on getting pictures during these times!  I get so busy I forget!  We had a wonderful White Christmas!

Before Christmas

Sorry for the lack of posting the past couple of weeks.  We have been chilling and relaxing!  It has been wonderful.  The boys did not know what to do yesterday when Jon and I had to go back to work. I was downloading all of my pics from the past couple of weeks and decided to split them into three posts.  The first are happenings, "Before Christmas".

I ran in a local 5K Rudolph run and brought home my attire for the boys.  They loved it!  Here is "Rudolph Ryan"

We always make sugar cookies for Santa.  The boys had an absolute blast doing them!  I mean all of the boys of the house!  I have Star Wars Cookie Cutters so of course those were the shapes of choice!

Love this picture!  Look at Drew's tongue out in the background.

 Pound them!

Snuck some cookie dough!

Darth Vader, Storm Trooper, and a Christmas Bell....yep that is how we roll...

The boys in their Christmas P.J.'s!
 Leaving Santa a treat!

Random shot of the boys watching the fire one night.

Couple of Rudolphs!

We had our annual Christmas Breakfast at church for the kids.  I took the boys and they had a blast, ate like maniacs!  Here are the boys posing!

Putting their ornaments on the tree.

Random shot of Ryan with his "cup of cheer" aka cider.  He was the lucky one who got to go with me as I finished up shopping....he loved it!

Reading the boys The Night Before Christmas and The Christmas Story out of Luke on Christmas Eve.

Mud Pie Anyone?

I have come to think that We really are THAT family!  Today, the perfect storm erupted at our house....it was crazy folks, I have never!   The dogs have been kenneled up in our garage since it has been snowy and cold.  This afternoon I thought I would take them back out to their pen so they could have a break.  The twins are in the living room with mom relaxing watching a movie and playing with their toys.  I go out the garage door through the back with the dogs.  It is a complete muddy snowy mess, but I am proud I remembered to wear my rain/mud boots.  I get them in their fence, then turn around to go get their food, and low and behold Ryan is standing there, barefoot, screaming how his feet are cold and muddy!  No joke kiddo, you just walked through a two foot snow drift in bare feet!  Geez!  I grab him up and take him to the back door and bang on it for mom to come get him and put him on a towel on the towel until I can come back in and clean him up.  As I am doing this I see Ringo, one of the dogs come running in the back yard.  This dog is not my "runner" so I run to the back gate to see if the other dog or "the runner" is still in there, yep he is.  While this is occurring, Ringo runs into the house!  Yep, muddy paws and all.  I have Ryan screaming about his feet, Jaxson screaming at Ringo, my poor mom trying to figure out what to do and I am in muddy shoes trying to coax the dog back out of the house.  I finally got him back out and in his pen.

Here is what I came in the house to see......

Wonder what to get me for Christmas?   A giftcard to Carpet Tech would be fabulous!  They are my new best friends!  They are on their way now.....I need a glass of wine.....

Christmas Past Flashback 2008

I was looking through old photos the other day to get a Christmas type photo on my work desktop for this season.  I ran across these.  The boys can't believe they use to be babies like Drew, pretty funny and Drew keeps looking at these and going "Two of Drew".  I thought I would share Flashback Photos of Christmas 2008 - enjoy!

This Frosty is from Aunt Ray - we still have it and it is the center of many disagreements.
Ryan is the Reindeer and Jaxson the snowman.

Jaxson looking for trouble under the tree!

They were completely shocked!

DID NOT like snow, they love it now!

Hope you enjoyed!

Happy Birthday Drew!

Yesterday was Drew's 2nd birthday!  Hard to believe this little guy is already two!  He had a fun filled day with friends, cupcakes, brothers, and cake.  We started out the day with the twins and I going in and singing him "Happy Birthday" to wake him up.  So cute!  The boys whispered it to him, he was so excited and started yelling, "My Birthday! My Birthday!"  Then it was off to school to spend the day with friends!

Drew eating cupcakes with his friends at school.

So happy!

His elmo cake for our home party!

Yep, I am cool eating my cake!

The finished product!  This was taken about 8:00 - we stayed up and waited on Jon to get home, so they all did well being tired and taking in large amounts of sugar!

I know Drew weighs about 29 pounds but unsure about the other measurements, I do know he is tall for his age!  We will go in for his two year appointment soon.
These are a few things about Drew:
1.  He is obsessed with Trains, completely!  Loves to spot "Choo Choos"
2.  Can hold his own with his brothers very well, is extremely vocal when doing this.
3.  Drinks milk like crazy!  Seriously will go through at least a half gallon a day!
4.  Still takes an afternoon nap of about 3 hours!  (Mama loves this!)
5.  Is a complete joy to be around, always happy!

Here are a few flashback pictures of Andrew Seth.

Those baby blue eyes, kill me!  We love you Drew!
