This Weekend in Reverse!

We had a fun and eventful weekend! I took about 80 pictures this weekend, and narrowed it down for the blog. One problem is I uploaded them in reverse order! I am going to take the lazy way out and just explain them in reverse order as well! We went to the Texas Tech Spring Football game and the Tech vs. Nebraska baseball game that night. Let's start with the baseball game.
Ryan at the baseball game - this is after about 6 hours outside already and a box of giant skittles! Now I can officially tell you what food dye does to my kids!

Running up and down the bleachers!

Jaxson on Skittle High! Ryan passing the time away playing the piano on daddy's phone. This kid is obsessed with musical instruments. Loved the band earlier in the day at the football game and always wants to play a different instrument. Today at lunch, his spoon was a saxophone! Jaxson and his beloved "Aunt Ray"!
In hiding in Aunt Ray's sunglasses!

These were taking at the Spring Football Game and Autograph signing session afterwards.

Ryan and Daddy leaving the field after an exciting afternoon!

Running around the field!

In the future when the boys go to A&M I will show them these and threaten to use them for blackmail! Just kidding, thought they were cute!

Ryan beating the goal post and Jaxson cracking up!

I asked the boys to lay down on the 50 yard line, this is what I got!

We have this players "game worn" jersey on the boys wall - you can see Ryan giving his "guns up" as well. Jaxson was at my feet scared to death of the player.

Watching the game!

Trying to poke Raider Red's eye out! Jaxson was at my feet again!

Ate at Firehouse subs before the game!

Watching DVD's in Daddy's new work car and listening to it with our "Telephones". We don't have "Headphones" down yet!
That was our wild weekend, actually that was just Saturday! Sunday we did our normal, church in the morning and evening, so the boys are nice and mellow today catching up on relaxing!

Where was Drew during all this? Mimi stayed with him on Saturday and had a grand time feeding ducks and shopping!

Love,

Another Story....

Another story has just occured. I was on the phone for a work conference call and the twins decide they do not want to nap and start running around the house screaming. Suddenly it is quiet (I am still on the phone). I glance in their bathroom and they have dumped the entire bottle of anti bacterial soap - the dissolving kind - in the floor and are just having a ball playing in it. This is the Sam's size bottle (40 oz). After my call, about 5 more minutes, I go in there, grab them up and put them back in bed and shut the bathroom door. Do you think it will dissolve and clean itself up? :) Right now the boys room smells nice and clean!

It is for sure a Monday!

Party Pics and A Little Story!

Last weekend we went to Dallas to see Scout and Jo and celebrate Scout's 2nd birthday. As you can see in the pictures, fun was had by all!

Really Jaxson, do we have to have the birthday girl push you?

Inspecting the dog toy....

The Sandbox is my favorite place!

Jaxson taking in a little batting practice.

Notice Ryan with his tee as well...

Let's eat cake at 10:00 in the morning!

Just chillin and obviously teething!
A Little Story!
So all three boys have moved up Sunday School classes because of the influx of new babies in our church! Plus Drew was just stepping on the little ones! This means a entire learning curve for the new teachers of the twins. They must learn how to "reign" in the excitement that our boys have (nice way of putting control the troops!). Last night Jon and I were attending our Small Group Bible study and our Minister of Education is in our group. He said that he had a story about our boys from Sunday School. He said his daughter, who is 12, was in their room looking after them during service. Kaitlyn is 12 and has been wanting to babysit the boys. I told her mom that would be fine, just the twins, but I had a feeling they were going to give her a run for her money! Kaitlyn said they were playing a game "Where are your eyes", "Where are your toes", etc.. In the middle of the class, yelling, one of the twins goes "Where is my p_ _ _ _!" while putting his hand down his pants. Kaitlyn had no idea what to do and quickly changed the game!
After he told us this story he said he did not know which one said it, but Jon said, it has to be Ryan. Sure enough, after interrogation this morning, Jaxson weaseled his brother out and Ryan confessed. We had a little discussion on appropriate talk and actions.
I always say I am payin for my raisin with Ryan. I cannot wait to see what his kids are like!

Boys

I have some great pictures to post from this weekend in Dallas, but because of the lovely thing called "Time Change" my entire house is grumpy. So I will get those posted this week. In the meantime. I have a few friends that have just boys, this is a shout out to us! Love my "Little Men"!

Moms of only boys understand each other.

We understand that climbing on furniture and pretending that every object is a light saber or a sword is normal behavior.

We understand that the business of little boys is insane....and that showers are a treat.

We understand that during this season we can't have precious items or even pictures sitting down low because they would not even make it one hour

We understand the noise level of a mock-Star Wars battle out in our living room (and sometimes under our feet) while we are cooking dinner. And that playing soft relaxing music is out of the question.

We understand that while our sons love us they need their dad just a little bit more as they get older.

We understand you can't EVER have too many air fresheners in their bathroom!

We understand the great weight of raising godly men in a society that invites them to be just the opposite.

We understand the phrase, "If you are going to do that then go outside. No _______inside the house." - for our house currently it is throwing baseballs!

We understand the poop jokes. (Ryan asked me just yesterday while we were at lunch at our Sunday school teachers house with another couple and their family, if he could talk about poop, when I said no, he then asked if he could talk about pee!)

We understand the joys of parenting boys and how they really bless us and make stronger women.

A Day at the Park!

Clapping for the Geese! Yeah!

Jaxson acting like he is taking a picture of us with his sunglasses!

Let's run and get them!

"I see a duck!"

Here is a little "Flashback" photo for you. Here are the twins, exactly two years ago on Spring Break at a hotel room in Dallas, this picture cracks me up, because it is so telling of their personalities! Ryan laid back and Jaxson inquisitive! Love it!

Put Me In Coach!

It is that time of year again. Baseball season! We purchased season tickets to the Texas Tech games this year and have already enjoyed them! The boys LOVE the ball park and talk about going to Lubbock all week. Jaxson is in red, Ryan in blue, and Drew is the one with nacho cheese all over him. Enjoy!

One just for fun!
